Speedway hosts "FUEL Up" for Independence Day
"Firecracker 100 Shootout" Saturday July 2nd. With
Independence Day and the appreciation of freedom on the
minds of many drivers and fans alike, the FUEL Racing
Series is set to kick off holiday celebrations with
racing at Lancaster Speedway Saturday July 2nd. In six
events this season, Five different winners have graced
FUEL's Victory Lane. It is the first trip in series
history for the CT525/Limited Late Model Tour to race at

rookie Matt Long. After a disappointing start at
Cherokee in the Season opener, the Concord, N.C. racer
has two wins to his credit in the past four events, the
second of which came this past weekend at Modoc Raceway.
Robbie Emory, Donald Bradshear, Steve Banal, and Dan
Breuer have been on the doorstep as well which has
created the most competitive lineup in series history.
The merger of the
CT525 and Steel Block Late Model engines has diversified
