Lancaster Speedway To Host The Southern All Star Racing Series Paying $10,000 To Win, Renegade Shootout, And More Saturday November 17th

 

Lancaster Speedway will return to racing on Saturday November 17th as the Speedway will host the Southern All Star Racing Series as Southern All Star competitors will go door to door around the "The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South" in a 50 lap showdown all chasing a $10,000 payday. The Speedway will host the Renegade Shootout paying $2,500 to win for our Renegade division. November 17th race program will include racing in the Southern All Star Racing Series ($10,000), Super Stock ($750), SECA Crate Sportsman ($700), Renegade ($2,500), Extreme 4 ($500), and Thunder Bomber ($700). Pit gates will open at 1:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 2:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 3:45 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $25 in the grandstands and $40 in the pits.

Lancaster Speedway Presents Two Nights Of Racing Friday September 28th And Saturday September 29th

 

Lancaster Speedway will return to racing on Friday September 28th and on Saturday September 29th as the Speedway will host two nights of dirt racing excitement.

 

Friday September 28th race program will include full race programs for SECA Crate Late Model ($1,500), Super Stock ($550), Extreme 4 ($350), and Pure Stock ($1,000). The SECA Crate Sportsman and Renegade division will run heats only. Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:45 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $12 in the grandstands and $25 in the pits.

 

Saturday September 29th race program will include full race programs for SECA Crate Late Model ($1,500), Extreme 4 ($500), Vintage ($300), Thunder Bomber ($500), and SECA Open Wheel Modified ($650). The SECA Crate Sportsman ($1,000) and Renegade ($1,000) division will run mains on Saturday. Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM with grandstand gates opening at 4:30 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:00 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $15 in the grandstands and $30 in the pits.

 

Two day passes will be available. A two day pit pass will be $50 and a two day grandstand pass will be $25. 

 

The SECA Crate Late Model event both nights will be 25 laps paying $1,500 to win and $150 to start. The SECA Open Modified event will be 25 laps paying $650 to win and $100 to start. There will be no entry fee for SECA Crate Late Model competitors. There will be a $25 entry fee for SECA Open Wheel Modified competitors.

 

 

Lancaster Speedway To Host Shrine Race Presented By The Jackson Shrine Club Thursday September 20th

 

Lancaster Speedway will return to racing on Thursday September 20th as the Speedway will host the Shrine Race presented by the Jackson Shrine Club Thursday September 20th with racing in SECA Crate Late Model ($2,000), Super Stock ($600), SECA Crate Sportsman ($700), Renegade ($700), Extreme 4 ($400), Pure Stock ($350), Thunder Bomber ($500), and Vintage ($300). The SECA Crate Late Model event will be paying $2,000 to win along with $200 to start. (30 Laps / $100 Entry Fee). Extreme 4, Pure Stock, Thunder Bomber, and Vintage divisions will hot lap qualify. Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:45 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $20 in the grandstands and $30 in the pits.
 

 

Lancaster Speedway Saturday September 15th Race Postponed

 

All racing scheduled for Saturday September 15th at Lancaster Speedway has been postponed due to the current weather forecast slated for the weekend from parts of Hurricane Florence. Saturdays race program will also see racing in the SECA Crate Sportsman River Wars paying $1,500 to win and the SECA Thunder Bomber Tour will also be in action paying $1,000 to win along with Renegade ($600), Super Stock ($600), and Extreme 4 ($400). The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series Returns To Lancaster Speedway Saturday August 4th

 

Lancaster Speedway will return to racing on Saturday August 4th as the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series will make their return to the "The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South" known as Lancaster Speedway. Carolina Clash competitors will battle it out for 40 action packed laps around the 1/2 mile oval all chasing a $4,000 payday.

 

Along with with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series the race program will also feature racing in Super Stock, SECA Crate Sportsman, Renegade, Extreme 4, Pure Stock, and Thunder Bomber. There will be a $200 new winner bonus in support classes.

 

Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:30 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $20 in the grandstands and $30 in the pits.

Lancaster Speedway Presents 14 Main Events Saturday July 28th

 

Lancaster Speedway will return to racing on Saturday July 28th as the Speedway will present 14 main events. July 28th race program will include racing in SECA Crate Late Model ($1,000), Super Stock, SECA Crate Sportsman, Renegade, Extreme 4, Vintage, Pure Stock, and Thunder Bomber.

 

Super Stock, SECA Crate Sportsman, Renegade, Extreme 4, Pure Stock, and Thunder Bomber classes will all have double mains. New cars can fall in rear for $40.

 

We will hot lap and qualify in all classes. This will set the lineup for the 2nd set of mains. No heats.

 

Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:30 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $12 ($10 with your ticket stub from 7-21-18) in the grandstands and $25 ($20 with your armband from 7-21-18) in the pits.


The Ports Heating and Air Pure Stock special originally scheduled for July 28th will be moved to a later date.

There will be a $200 new winner bonus in all divisions besides Modifieds. Lancaster Speedway will return to racing Saturday June 23rd as the Speedway presents the "Phillip Knight Memorial" with racing in Mid East Modifieds / 602 MODS ($1,200), SECA Crate Late Model ($1,000), Super Stock, SECA Crate Sportsman ($1,000), Renegade ($1,000), Extreme 4 ($700), Pure Stock ($325), and Thunder Bomber. There will be a $200 new winner bonus in all divisions. There will also be a fireworks show along with a "Cop Car Shootout" featuring Jeff Knight, Dennis Knight, Brandy Baker, Timbo Mangum, Brent Hodges, Richard Broome and Andrew Blackwood. Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:30 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $12 in the grandstands and $25 in the pits.

 

In our Super Stock division Brandy Baker has put a $200 bounty on any driver that can beat him (Finishing 1st). Brandy has to be running at the end of the race to collect the $200 bounty.

 

In our Thunder Bomber division if there is 10 or more cars it will be $500 to win sponsored by Faith Funderburke Realty.

Lancaster Speedway April 7th Event Cancelled

 

All racing scheduled for Saturday April 7th at Lancaster Speedway has been cancelled due to the weather. Overnight rain and continued rains today along with the weather forecasted for tonight have forced us to cancel all racing for tonight. Racing will resume at Lancaster Speedway on Saturday April 14th. The USCS Winged Sprint Car Series are scheduled to be back at Lancaster Speedway on July 21st.

Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 7:00 PM with racing to follow.

 

Saturday March 17th race program will include racing in Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series ($5,000), SECA Crate Late Model ($1,200), Super Stock ($700), SECA Crate Sportsman ($700), Renegade ($700), Extreme 4 ($400), and Vintage ($350). Pit gates will open at 3:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 4:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:00 PM with racing to follow.

 

The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series complete program will be ran on Saturday March 17th. Lancaster Speedway will hold a open practice for all Carolina Clash competitors on Friday night with three rounds total. After practice, after heats, and after mains.

Lancaster Speedway Kicks Off 2018 Season March 10th

Lancaster Speedway will kick of the 2018 season on March 10th with its annual car show and open practice for all divisions. The car show will be held from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM with open practice for all divisions from 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM.
Pit concession stand will be open. The season opener is set for March 16th - 17th as the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series make their return to Lancaster Speedway as they do battle on "The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South" for a $5,000 Payday. Along with the Carolina Clash the weekend program will include racing in SECA Crate Late Model, Super Stock, SECA Crate Sportsman, Renegade, Extreme 4, Pure Stock, and Vintage.

 

 

Lancaster Speedway Open Practice Saturday February 24th

 

Lancaster Speedway will host a open practice for all divisions on Saturday February 24th weather permitting for competitors to prepare for the 2018 race season.

Lancaster Speedway To Host Rules Meeting November 25th For Drivers And Crews

 

Lancaster Speedway will be having a rules meeting on Saturday November 25th for drivers and crews concerning the 2018 race season. The meeting will be held at the race track draw window located in the pits. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks will be provided.

2017 Lancaster Speedway Point Banquet Rescheduled To December 2nd
 

Due to unavoidable circumstances, the 2017 Awards Banquet scheduled for November 11, 2017 has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 2nd at 6:00 PM at La Chalupa Mexican Restaurant located at 775 Lancaster Bypass E, in Lancaster, South Carolina (29720). All details remain the same with buffet $10 per person cost. Awards will be presented to the top 5 finishers in each of the 7 divisions along with the Rookie Of The Year award. Congratulations to everyone who raced in 2017. The new owners and management team will be present to answer questions. Thank you to all fans, drivers, and employees at Lancaster Speedway.

 

 

Lancaster Speedway BREAKING NEWS!

It is with great pleasure we announce the new ownership at Lancaster Speedway. Brandy Baker has purchased the speedway. For more than 50 years, Lancaster Speedway has been a cornerstone for entertainment in the Lancaster community. We plan to continue this tradition. One of the main reasons Brandy decided to purchase the speedway was that he did not want to see a housing development on the speedway property. He wants the same thing that most of us want, to keep racing alive at Lancaster Speedway. Even though Brandy is the owner of the track now, the Bakers may still race at Lancaster. However, if their racing at Lancaster becomes a problem, they will stop racing at Lancaster Speedway. They will have nothing to do with the nightly operation calls at the track. That will be left to promoters management team.

Lancaster Speedway has some of the most passionate fans in dirt track racing. It is our goal to give you the best racing and the best facility possible. We are planning major upgrades to the facility. First, we plan to address the restroom situation. We will do everything in our power to give the fans that spend their hard-earned money with us, a clean restroom to use. We also plan to work on the infield drainage problems. For the drivers and crews, a parts truck will be onsite weekly and we plan to use transponders for scoring this year. We are going to work around the speedway and give it an overall facelift.

We have big plans for the upcoming season and are very excited about what we already have in the works. We are looking to have at least one "big" race a month, possibly two. We are planning to bring the Buddy Crook Monster Mini Race back this year as well as the Huey Knight and Garland Parker Memorial races. For all of our late model fans, we have The Carolina Clash, Ultimate Super Late Model Series, Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Models, SECA Late Models, and we are working to try to secure a date for a National Touring Series. We also plan to continue our support of the Sprint Car Association and bring the Monster Minis to the fast half mile. We definitely want to support the classes that support us week in and week out. With that in mind, we already have plans for some $1000 and $3000 to win shows for our local divisions. We have been contacted by new potential sponsors for the speedway as well as individual races already. This year is going to be BIG! In the coming days, we will make an announcement concerning division rules, meetings and rule books will be released soon after. We know as racers ourselves, it is extremely important to get the rules to the racers as soon as possible. We hope to be able to work our rules to line up with Carolina Speedway as closely as possible. We are looking for positive input from drivers and fans. Let us know what we can do to make this the best year ever at Lancaster Speedway.
