Lancaster Speedway Gives Thanks And Congratulates Champions As 2019 Season Concludes

The 2019 race season at Lancaster Speedway has come to a close. Lancaster Speedway would like to thank all drivers, fans, and sponsors for their support throughout the 2019 race season. Congratulations to all of our champions.

Palmetto State 50 November 22nd And 23rd Race Weekend At Lancaster Speedway Postponed

The "Palmetto State 50" event scheduled for Friday November 22nd and Saturday November 23rd at Lancaster Speedway has been postponed. Unfortunately this is the decision Co-Promoters Shannon Munn and Eric Caskey along with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series officials have to make. With rain coming into Lancaster County Friday along with a 100% chance of rain all day Saturday and into Saturday night; The decision has been made to cancel racing for November 22nd and 23rd at the Speedway. The race will not be rescheduled and this will end the 2019 race season at Lancaster Speedway. The points banquet will be announced within the next week. Thank you to our drivers, fans, staff members, sponsors, and everyone else for an amazing 2019 race season at Lancaster Speedway. We made a lot of history this year for the Speedway.

 

 

Lancaster Speedway Presents The Palmetto State 50 Friday November 22nd And Saturday November 23rd

 

Lancaster Speedway will present its final event of the 2019 race season as the Speedway presents the "Palmetto State 50" Friday November 22nd and Saturday November 23rd. The event will be headlined by a $10,000 to win Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event on Saturday.

 

On Friday November 22nd the race program will include Lightning Late Model ($800), Pure Stock ($300), Extreme 4 ($400), and Enduro ($1,000). The Enduro event will be 100 laps. There will be a open practice for Super Late Model and support division competitors. Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:45 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $13 in the grandstands and $25 in the pits with ages 12 and under free.

 

On Saturday November 23rd the race program will include the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series ($10,000), Crate Sportsman ($700), Renegade ($700), Extreme 4 ($1,000), Thunder Bomber ($1,000), and FWD Young Guns ($300). The Thunder Bomber event will be the "Buddy Moore Memorial" and the Extreme 4 event will be the "Jamie Puckett Memorial". Pit gates will open at 12:00 PM with grandstand gates opening at 1:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 2:30 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $30 in the grandstands and $40 in the pits with ages 12 and under free.

 

The Speedway will also host its 2019 season awards banquet at the track on November 23rd.

Lancaster Speedway Presents The Robertson Heating And AC V8 Shootout And More Saturday October 26th

 

Lancaster Speedway will return to racing on Saturday October 26th as the Speedway will present the Robertson Heating and AC V8 Shootout paying $5,000 to win. October 26th race program will include the Robertson Heating and AC V8 Shootout ($5,000), Lightning Late Model ($800), Pure Stock ($300), Extreme 4 ($400), Thunder Bomber ($600), and Enduro ($1,000). The V8 Shootout will be 25 laps paying $5,000 to win along with $150 to start. The event will require a $75 entry fee. The Enduro Race will be 100 laps. Lancaster Speedway will be having a open practice for all divisions on Thursday October 24th from 7:00 PM till 10:00 PM. Gates will open at 6:00 PM. Admission will be $15 per person in the pits and free in the grandstands.

The Mid-East Modified Tour will also be action paying $1,000 to win. March 23rd will also mark the start of weekly points for Lancaster Speedway competitors. Lancaster Speedway To Host The "Red Rose Rumble" March 15th And 16th

Lancaster Speedway is set to kick of the 2019 season opener Friday March 15th and Saturday March 16th as the Speedway will host the "Red Rose Rumble" along with Pepsi Night at "The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South". Saturday March 16th will be headlined by the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series paying $5,000 to win.

Friday March 15th race program will include SECA Crate Late Model ($1,000), Super Stock ($600), SECA Crate Sportsman (Heats), Renegade (Heats), Pure Stock ($300), and Extreme 4 ($400). Lancaster Speedway Off Season Upgrades And Car Show / Points Banquet Information

 

Upgrades done to the track this off season and Car Show / Points Banquet Info: This off season, even though it has been a wet and rainy one; The staff at Lancaster Speedway has still been hard at work making improvements to the race track and the facilities. Some of the highlights on the improvements have been purchasing a crash truck with a jaws of life system on it. New radios for the track crew / staff, LED lighting system coming this year. Better working equipment and the sound system got an upgrade.

Car Show / Points Banquet / Open Practice Full Info: March 9th, 2019 Lancaster Speedway will be hosting it's annual Car Show / Points Banquet along with Open Practice to start the 2019 racing season. The Car Show will start at 11:00 AM and end at 2:00 PM, the Points Banquet will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Both will be in the grandstands parking lot at the race track. Starting at 2:00 PM drivers that want to practice will be able to drive their race cars and race car haulers into the pits. Fans can go in the grandstands to watch open practice. Admission will be $15 in the pits and grandstands will be free. Concession stands will be open, there will be food and drinks sold at the Car Show / Points Banquet as well.

Breaking news about cop car rentals: Race fans have been asking since last year, "When will Lancaster Speedway rent out the old cop cars in the pits?" Well I now have the answer for all the race fans. After practice has been completed on March 9, 2019, Co-Promoters Eric Caskey and Shannon Munn have decided to rent out the cop cars for $10 a lap. That is right race fans, if you have not been around Lancaster Speedway and always wanted to do so, well here is your chance. YOU MUST BRING A HELMET TO RACE!
